Robin Bishop is the experienced incumbent Clerk of Cobb State Court, running the most efficient office of record in Cobb and one of the best in the State of Georgia. Keeping, safeguarding and preserving the record is paramount to the citizens, litigants, defendants, businesses, law enforcement, prosecution and the court. Customer service, efficiency and accuracy are the essential three pillars in this clerk’s office operating in a court of record.


Clerk Robin Bishop along with Chief Deputy Rochelle Taylor, have dedicated their professional careers to customer and public service and are some of the most dependable and sought after experts in the State Court and judicial operations arena. Together they have 41 years of combined judicial branch experience.

Rochelle Taylor is the current Chief Deputy Clerk of State Court and has qualified with Clerk Robin Bishop to run for the 2024 election. In Cobb State Court, in the event the Clerk is unable to complete a term, the Chief Deputy immediately becomes the Clerk of Court. The Chief Deputy also may act for the Clerk in the Clerk's absence. Cobb residents can rest easy knowing that Rochelle has twenty-five years of experience in the Clerk's Office serving in Accounting, Courtroom Deputy Clerks, and the Criminal Division. Her peers in Cobb and the Clerk teams respect her experience and tireless service to the citizens.
